Thanksgiving 2013

We hosted the Pierce families for Thanksgiving this year and had a house full. We had 6 kids and 8 adults. Joel smoked the turkey on the BGE because a dog WE (not just me, she's mine when she's in trouble) own chewed the pipe from his propane tank to his gas smoker. We then went to Jason's house where my family was and visited there and back to the Nelson's! Here are some pics from that week.

Joel gave the boys the wish bone to try.

Watching the Macy's Parade until Santa arrives! (Saylor and Kayla)

The kids table :)

We got to be reunited with Dwayne and Lindsay for a couple of hours, they rode to Jason's with us!

The boys went on their first hunting outing of the year with Pawpaw! Saylor wasn't feeling it.

They jumped in huge piles of leaves at Mawmaw's and Pawpaw's and I videoed it in Slow-motion on my iPhone and its awesome.

This sweet boy got WJE Student of the Month! GO Hudson!

Saylor went to a Gingerbread House decorating party at Mary Collis Patrick's house and had a great time!

Live tree

This picture below is the essence in which we see how different our twins are. It was book fair week at school and they really wanted to go buy a book. So I send them each with $10 and this is seriously what they bought. Hudson :  a book on the account of the first thanksgiving, which he is still carrying around and looking at just about everyday. Harrison: a  $9.99 plastic toy puppet that was never looked at again after this car ride home. He said, " I can't help it, I just LOVE toys". He is hilarious and keeps us rolling :)

Here are the cousins at Kayla's 5th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was so cute and a great day to go. They all had a blast!
Here we are at their Thanksgiving feast at school, they showed us how to go through the cafeteria line and where to sit.

Here is their precious class singing some songs for us after lunch, as you can see the princess took her seat by Mrs.Benson.
Here we are after choosing our tree (its getting netted in the background) this was honestly the easiest 10 minutes ever. 2 men followed us out to look we found it, they bagged and loaded it.

Here it is before the grand reveal. Our tree skirt is one my granny made years ago and I just realized its awesomeness and sentimental value a couple of years ago and I'm so proud of it!
