Saylor turns 3!

Saylor Pierce definitely has it made in the shade....if you didn't already know this. She is the baby, she is the only sister and has 2 big brothers that adore her. She is totally aware of the powerful position she sits in! She turned 3 years old on May 3rd which was the same day as Day in the Park in Laurel. It was clear that we would need to celebrate at the park. We didn't have a big party, just borrowed a tent, invited grandparents and cousins and told her that everyone was there in the park for her! It was a beautiful day and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Here is a little about her birthday weekend.
She had dance and is pretty shy, the boys were there and Hudson made her feel safe and ok by going out and showing her how to do it :) she's a lucky gal.

We went for ice cream at the DQ after we set up her tent Friday night.

This is their favorite place to eat right now since they get ice cream with their kids meal.

This was her tent, and we set it up the night before so we could claim this shade!

She had Sweet Daddy's Popcorn, Pink Lemonade and Cupcakes and Cake from The Bake Shop.

Mawmaw and Pawpaw with the birthday girl.

Nanny and Pop with the birthday girl!

The Crager's came by to wish her a Happy Day!

She was being her shy self and didn't want to face the camera!

Granny even came to celebrate with us!

Her first face painting!

She took her nap in the sweetest spot there!

I was working with the Laurel Arts League so excuse the green smock.

Our sweet 3 year old, you have made us complete and I still laugh to myself that we got a little girl, you are a new journey everyday and we love you more and more, beautiful girl.

Her birthday present! She wanted a "Pink Cah" and she won't drive it. She prefers to be chauffeured and has 2 on stand-by at all times ;)

Easter 2014

Easter is always a fun time of the year for us, we always do the Salem Heights Easter Drama and this year all 5 of us were in it, it is such a blessing in so many ways. We get to know people we usually don't see at church and we do it all as a family. Here are some pics from that week!

Easter Sunday before church, we almost missed a morning picture and were late but we called our buddy out of our Sunday School classroom to come take it for us!

Huddy and I after church at the Nelson Easter, this year it was hosted by Brook and Josh Gatlin.

Saylor loves babies thats a known fact, here she is with Bradley Thrash, she is in love!

Our FAVORITE tree on our street! Isn't it great! The boys love to run and hide in it on the way home from the bus. I don't know what it is, I remember something about an olive tree of some sort?

This big boy got his first home run!! I ran to the dugout to take his picture after I finished screaming and jumping for him and he struck this pose! All his idea!!

We went to Relay for Life Jones County after that game and we were so glad Mawmaw and Pawpaw came along, she is our survivor!!

Gameday again!

The Lost Boys!

Harrison and Hudson tried out for Peter Pan Jr. and were given the roles of Lost Boys. It was the cutest play. They put in A LOT of hard work and late nights! The weekend it opened they had three different shows. Here are some of the pics from that weekend!
The Lost Boys of Neverland

Their own audience!

I was a stage mom!

Hudson came home with a medal for "Fastest Boy" in his class!

Our precious sweet Mrs.Carla, let Harrison deliver the mail on our street when she got her new yellow mail ride!

They have really gotten into their bows that Santa brought them (finally!)

We went on the West Jones Kindergarten field trip to the zoo, so much fun!

We have bus riders!

My friend Carolyn Bolivar is a photographer and had some Easter Mini-Sessions so I bought one, none of the kids had Easter outfits so we picked these out the night before! Saylor actually has on my Easter dress from when I was 3 or 4. She LOVED the baby animals and cried for a bunny when we left. I told her that bunny had to stay in her house.... she straightened up in deep thought for a moment and said, "then I want a caaaaat!!" LOL :)
That bunny....

She is holding it so gently, I love this.

These sweet hearts have always been the best sports at taking pics, they are wild but they know when to turn it on for the camera. Hudson said, "no thanks!" to holding any animals!

We usually end up behind the bus on our way home from picking up the boys at school, they always beg to ride the bus. I finally asked about this bus one day and found out that it takes all the teachers kids front the elementary to the high school and then would come straight to our house! This was perfect because usually I have to wake Saylor from her nap and ride to the school to sit in our car for 30 minutes. So I called the bus driver and got the scoop, I told her they really needed to sit on the front row together. She agreed and brings them to the entrance of our neighborhood everyday now, they think they are super cool and I get an extra 45 minutes at home to finish laundry or whatever! Here is the maiden voyage....
Joel happened to be off the first day they rode home so we all walked to wait on them!

Even Charlie had to see his boys get off this bus!

Here they come!!

"It was awesome!!!" they both said.

Saylor needed a hug! This was a big moment for us and I had a little lump in my throat, I'm always so glad that they have each other.

First Mardi Gras!

The kids have never been to a Mardi Gras parade so we went down and spent the night with Dean and Ashley and had the best time!
This is not at Mardi Gras but in car pick up line and Mercy kept resting her head on my shoulder and I was trying to get a picture, so I held the camera out and said, "Mercy!" to get her to look at my hand but she's a good dog and looked at me. :)

Saylor gets shy when we miss dance and she has to go back and dance out there without a hand to hold again (she's 2). So this week the boys came and Harrison, said," I got it, I'll help her!" and there he went!

Here we are at the night parade getting to our spot! Joel had a basketball game this night so he drove down after and met us.

Liam and these things you blow and they become streamers!

I had a heart-stopping, mind blowing, complete panic attack when we could not find Harrison. I could not move or see literally. He was just in the street on top of Uncle Dean's shoulders! Whew! Worst.Feeling.Ever.

Here we are after the parade, minus Don and Nancy! It was so fun, Saylor waved her hands and said "Hey Mister!"

The next day, in downtown Mobile after the floral parade we were waiting outside the candy shoppe while Dean and Joel got a Krispy Kreme Donut Burger. Really.

These three.....are my world!
