Hello Sunshine!

We have missed you! It has been so nice to be able to go outside and get some sunshine everyday after school. Here is what we have been up to this week!
We had company!

Kayla swinging outside.

Kali and Myles on the "spaceship"

Look at all the kiddos in my kitchen!! They are all getting so big.

Pappy, Joel and Matthew hung the curtain rods and curtains in the nursery.

Nana Pierce made Saylor ALL of these things, towels, blankets, burp cloths, rattles and a knitted blanket!

The Crager's came over last night to hang out and play! It was so fun, the boys love when they come to play.

We woke up this morning and went directly outside! Uncle D was here too!

Daddy giving the reminder of how to hold the bat.

Hudson taking a swing with the metal bat.

Harrison's turn!

We got the boys registered for pre-k at St. John Day School this week, it's hard to believe that it is time to start k-3 next year. I am going to be home next year with all the kids so it will be good for us both for them to have a routine. They both have had bronchitis this week and it is so hard to have sick babies and a job! I will be 30 weeks this week so not too much longer (although it sure seems like it).

Joely, Daddy, Huddy Hoo, and Harris

My friend Mindi has inspired me to tell you why my Valentine (s) own my heart this Valentine's Day.

Joel - My most important Valentine...
14. He is dependable, he will ALWAYS stick to a schedule and even though he likes to make plans and time schedules days and weeks in advance you know he will be doing what is planned and at that same time will drop anything to help a damsel in distress even if that means not getting started mowing the yard at 8:00 a.m. sharp!
13. He can rig anything, I mean anything...
12. He can dress himself and do a good job at it!
11. He turns my heated mattress pad on an hour before we get in bed so that it's warm by that time.
10. He will put the dishes in the dishwasher and will always handle the yucky ones (the leftover food that I can't deal with) like it was no big deal.
9. He texts me every morning to see how my morning went getting everyone dressed and to school on time.
8. The first time I heard him talking to one of his patients (elderly) on the phone I perked up thinking,"What the....he doesn't even call me darling or sweetie!!??" but he explained that they need someone to treat them with care and love and that it keeps them trying harder to get better. The elderly lady population in Laurel is wrapped around Joel's finger, they love him and I'm proud to say that.
7. He is always telling my boys how nice, pretty and good I am to them.
6. He is good at banking, investing and details that I don't care to understand.
5. He watches "Real Housewives" with me and likes it.
4. He put a Valentine's Day card with a bag of beef jerky in my car this morning, he really knows the way to my heart.
3. He loves my family almost as much as I do and is always excited to hang out with them.
2. He loves his Momma.... a lot.
1. He loves me unconditionally all the time and I still look at him and think "he is so good-looking"

Harrison and Hudson
3. They always want to kiss me and love on me, in a nurturing way. They kiss my forehead, cheeks and nose or push my hair back behind my ears and say, "you're so pretty". (tear...thinking about this makes me tear up!)
2. They pick dandelions for me everytime we go outside.
1. They both love their mommy and I love how that feels!

Daddy
3. He brought me a cupcake in bed (warmed a little) when I stayed at their house and had the flu.
2. He always loads my car (boys included) when I'm leaving their house.
1. He still comes to my rescue for ANYTHING including a hanging bar in my little girl's closet.

Those are my special Valentine's this year and I am so thankful to have that many special guys in my life!

Tadpole

This has been a week!! I had the flu over the weekend and into the beginning of the week. It was not fun, although I have to be thankful because the doctor said pregnancy and flu is a pretty bad combo, I was a survivor and fought it off. Thanks to my compadre, Kimberly, who brought us a tub of Loaded Potato Soup, it was just what the doctor ordered and gave us a hot meal for a few days! While I was in my sickness coma my parents and Joel's parents helped with the boys. Joel's parents actually took them to see the Monster Truck Show in Hattiesburg, I wish I had some pictures, they had a blast!! My classroom has suffered from my lack of health this week that is for sure, so I will be catching up today and probably for the rest of the week. This weekend was Joel's weekend to work at the hospital, so the boys and I took off Saturday morning to ride with my parents to the coast to eat a birthday lunch with my brother, Dean, and to pick up Lucy and Grayson. We were 8-deep in the Tahoe yesterday with two sets of twins, Nanny and Pop, Granny Shaw and myself! It served a purpose and I'm glad we have a car that will fit that many but I decided I will not be riding any further than the Gulf Coast that loaded down anytime soon, it was a little claustrophobic! We went to Uncle L.J.'s house and rode the golf cart, fished, did some swinging and visiting, it was a great day!

Uncle LJ, Hudson, Harrison, and Grayson trying to catch the monster catfish, it was huge.

Grayson didn't get the memo of how cold it was!! He wanted to catch a tadpole....a boy thing I guess.

Looking at his first tadpole, he even held it! Slimy!!

This is Annie the Corgi dog she loves to ride the golf cart and keeps a close eye on the kids.

Lucy driving the boys around, they almost went to sleep sitting straight-up.

Nothing better than a tree-swing!

This is where my mind NEEDS to be, decorating and preparing for a baby girl! I have made my "To Do" list this morning and feel better about having a direction. The boys talk about her all the time and are very excited. Hudson wants to buy her a pink hair bow.

Happy Birthday to my brother Dean, we love you so much! Happy Valentine's to my little boys and my big boy, you really know how to make me feel like a queen I love you all very much! Joel surprised me with some new Maui Jim sunglasses that I have been dreaming about for a few years... on top of that he has completely stepped-up since I have been pregnant and sick and does so much around the house, he bathes the boys every night, washes and folds clothes, cleans the kitchen, builds fires, feeds the dog, and has a true unending desire to take care of, play with, spend time with and teach our little boys important things (like how to build a fire, etc ;). Ughhhhh, I miss him when he works the weekends!

Agnes Hair

Harrison and Hudson wanted to their hair to look like Agnes's hair, the sweet and cute little girl in the movie
Despicable Me ......so ......

Last Thursday we went to the circus in Laurel....I wasn't exactly sure what kind of circus we were in for but it turned out to be just right for the boys and they laughed so hard it was worth every penny (and I mean penny as in they get you in the goat when you go, they know how to work the $$$).

Hudson would not move from here, he is very cautious in places like this especially in the dark!

Harrison loved it, they both got these dinosaur light up things since T-Rex is mentioned at least twice every hour in our house.

Then we knew it was time to leave...9:00 pm is late for these boys and they were EXPIRED!
